Konvin Hotel by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

Perfect if you have an early flight the next day. The rooms was very spacious and clean. Free airport shuttles run from 4am.

The room is very spacious but the beds are very narrow and have tiny nightstands which was a bit weird, plenty of space though for opening up your suitcase! Friendly and efficient staff at restaurant with limited but ok menu. Prices reasonable.

The Konvin is in the old US Airforce base, on the east side of the airport. A fighter jet is still on display down the road. The terminal is about 7km away, with a shuttle bus service from the hotel to catch morning flights. The restaurant is on the second floor, serving a reasonable range for dinner, and copious buffet for breakfast starting at 04:00. Coffee in the room was upscale Nespresso pods. The room was big enough for dance lessons, bed quite comfortable. The room was recently renovated, more than the corridors. I was on the ground floor near the temporary entrance (the front entry was being renovated), but there was no problem with noise.

Very reasonable priced, close to the airport.

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well. The dining room/bar was very nice, and the food was good.
